As a healthy habits Coach, I love to be able to help you create your dream life by consistently taking care of yourself. I also LOVE to be able to recommend products, systems, and strategies that make your practice and days even better! Beautycounter is one of them, and if you haven’t noticed on my Instagram stories..drumroll.. I am officially a Beautycounter consultant!

In my mind, being a consultant doesn’t really change too much for me. I have been recommending Beautycounter for years (and not getting paid for it). BC products have been a part of my life, and I have been living the mission for the past six years. You know, when you come across good products that also help you, and the planet, it’s hard not to recommend them! I’m going to start with telling you why their mission resonates with me and why I would recommend their products to ANYONE. After that I will break down some of my favorite products, the best ones to start with, and some wonderful extras about BC. Here we go!

Why now? Why this company? 

I came across Beautycounter products in a search for better, healthier skin care products (wish I looked sooner) after having my daughter 6 years ago. I was nursing and really wanted something safe since our skin is our biggest organ and absorbs EVERYTHING we put on it. Starting with the basics, the Charcoal cleansing bar and the Countermatch adaptive lotion, and I have been hooked ever since.

I don’t know how many times I have spent money on beauty products and been really disappointed. BC has yet to disappoint me! My daughter is now 6 and I feel so good about letting her wash her face with the Cocoboost Face Wash. She loves playing with my lipsticks, glosses, and palettes and I have a sense of peace that it won’t destroy her skin or transmit chemicals into her body.

Quick fact: Lipsticks are known to contain toxic chemicals of lead and aluminum.

Plain and simple it has changed my skin and my view on beauty products forever. Not only do they have products that give results but they check the boxes in every category of change I would love to see in the world.

Why did it take me 6 years to join the movement?

This year my goals were to connect and be open to all unique opportunities. My mentor had approached me multiple times about joining over the years and I just didn’t think I could add it onto my plate. Fast forward to 2022, my year of change, a whole new career and business, moving to another state. As I coach women to find their healthy habits daily, I realized the mission for BC aligns with how I want to see the world become. It is the example I want to set, for myself, my daughter, and my clients. Being a consultant gives me extra powers, it lifts me up, and makes me better.  I am a part of a movement with some of the most powerful women working together to stand up for what is right. I choose to change beauty for my daughter and all the generations to come.

Morning Skin Routine

1. Counter Control Clear Pore Cleanser

First I wash my face with warm water and the counter control cleanser. The refreshing citrus scent and tiny micro beads for exfoliation are so refreshing each morning. Pat dry and move on to step 2.

2. Counter + No 2 Plumping Face Oil 

A lot of people are afraid of oils, and think they will break out or be greasy, this oil is divine!! I think the same way we have been taught that “fats” will make us fat, society has also taught us oil is horrible for the skin. Read the reviews, watch my tutorial on Instagram, this oil is AMAZING! Light, but moisturizing. I use it year round. Take the dropper and put 3 tiny drops on your face. I put one on my forehead, and one each cheek.

3.Sacheu Stainless Steel Face Roller

Take out your face roller. The Sacheu roller is my favorite because it is stainless steel and naturally stays cold, so I don’t have to put it in the freezer. This makes it so much easier for me to be consistent with it. If you haven’t used a face roller, go get one now. I will do a whole other tutorial on this but they are amazing! Back to step 3, start rolling the oil around your face in upward motion from inside (nose to ear, eyebrow to hairline), and don’t forget the under eye. You should be rolling for around two minutes.

4. Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion

This lotion has been a favorite of mine from the beginning. Living in New England for most of my life, in the winter my skin would be peeling and dry, and in the summer my skin would be a greasy, oily mess! This lotion hits the motherload. It is the perfect amount of moisture for hot summers, and my skin has not peeled in years!!! Step 4 take a small amount of lotion and apply it to your face. Done!

You can continue on and put on your makeup or sunscreen. This morning routine leaves my skin feeling refreshed, slightly flushed and dewey.
