Website launch day!!! If you are reading this then you have already seen my new website and what a dream it is!! First of all, I want to thank Anna Grace Designs (anngracedesign.com) for working with me and really understanding my vision. For adding my little quirky comments  to make the site more “ME”, and also really, truly seeing me and my dream for the future. Anna made me dig deep to portray myself authentically and it made me learn more about myself in the process. Thank you so much!!! Lindsay Fairchild photography (Lindsayfairchild.com), you captured my essence in photos and truly made my website dreams come true. When I wasn’t sure of my vision you knew me enough to point me in the right direction. Thank you so much!! If you had told me 10 years ago that today I would be  owning my own business as an independent hair stylist, a blogger, heading back to school to be certified in a completely different field as a health and wellness coach, mom to a beautiful six year-old daughter, and married to my soulmate … I would have thought you were crazy. 10 years ago I spent most of my time watching TV and surfing the internet for things I couldn’t afford. I worked for a salon making no money and dreaming for more in my life but not thinking it was attainable. I am here to tell you that you can do all things. You are worthy of ALL things. You just have to be open to it. As soon as I opened up my mind, endless opportunities arose, some that I never thought I would be interested in, and some I didn’t even know existed.

After receiving my Optimize Level One Life coaching certificate (optimize.me) I decided to continue my coaching education and take a 6 month intensive course to be certified as a health and wellness coach. This wasn’t part of my original plan. Am I nuts to do another half a year of school added on to my regular work load?! It took me about a month to pull the trigger, going back and forth about which one to take and what I want to be certified in. As soon as I made the decision I literally felt a weight lift off of me and it just felt right. It felt like I am following the path that I am supposed to be following. Of course I am freaking out thinking about all the work this is going to involve and how will I have time etc.? BUT I know I can do it, and most of all I want to do it. After blogging for the past 6 months I have realized how much I love helping people thrive in their lives. If taking a class for 6 months helps me do that better, and give back more, I am down! I am so incredibly excited to see where this new adventure brings me, and can’t wait to take you along with me! Remember, be open to all unique opportunities even if it might not be in your plan. Go for your dreams NOW, before you are ready, because let’s be real when are we ever “ready”. We are worthy of all things!!! Repeat it, meditate on it, write it down all day, stick it to your mirror.
